A randomized controlled trial examining digital stress interventions for breast cancer patients was published November 4, 2026. The work appears in Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, indexed on PubMed.

430 patients were randomized to receive one of two digital stress management programs, or usual care. 76% of enrolled participants, 327 people, completed the 18 month follow up survey.

At 18 months, all three groups showed stable trends over time. The authors reported no significant difference in perceived stress between either intervention group and the control arm.

Perceived stress was specified as the trial's primary outcome prior to launch.
