FDA and USDA FSIS published four separate product recall notices on 24 September 2026. The notices include one Class I food recall, two Class II recalls and one unclassified food recall. The highest severity notice is for bettergoods Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine, distributed by Walmart Inc and recalled by GIAS FOOD INC. The product is packed in 22 ounce yellow sealed bags, marked with best by date 21 September 2027 and UPC 194346442706. It was recalled over confirmed contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.[1] A Class II recall was issued for Lior brand Cinnamon Ground Seasoning, imported by Galil Importing Corp. The 90g transparent containers were found to contain elevated levels of lead. Affected units carry UPC 794711005484.[2] Also listed as Class II is a recall of 18mg/mL tirzepatide injection vials from Apothecary Pharma LLC. The prescription multi-dose vials were pulled over lack of assurance of sterility.[3] Sierra Nevada Cheese Company recalled 40 pound bulk units of raw milk sharp cheddar over potential E. coli O26:H11 contamination. This recall had not been assigned a hazard classification at the time the notice was posted.[4]
